Dr. Marina Cadreche provides subject matter expertise to Falcon Technologies in correctional behavioral health, clinical operations, mental health administration, substance use services, standards of care, and large-scale correctional system implementation. With more than 25 years of experience leading local, state, and international correctional teams, Dr. Cadreche brings deep operational insight into how behavioral health programs function across complex correctional environments.
Her expertise helps inform the development and implementation of Falcon Technologies’ correctional technology tools, including risk-informed decision support, behavioral health workflows, clinical documentation practices, quality standards, staff training considerations, and scalable implementation strategies for jail and prison systems. Dr. Cadreche’s background in correctional leadership, policy development, accreditation, and system-level clinical oversight provides critical perspective on how technology can support safer facilities, stronger clinical practice, and more consistent standards of care.
Dr. Cadreche began her correctional career in Tennessee, where she held several key leadership positions, including Chief of Psychology, Mental Health Director, Clinical Director, and Assistant Commissioner of Rehabilitative Services for the Tennessee Department of Correction. As Assistant Commissioner, she was responsible for the development of policies, procedures, and standards of care for incarcerated individuals receiving day-to-day rehabilitative services across TDOC institutions.
Most recently, Dr. Cadreche served as Regional Mental Health Director for Centurion Health, where she oversaw regional clinical operations for mental health services within the Florida Department of Corrections. Her experience across state correctional systems, contractor-operated services, and multidisciplinary care environments helps ensure Falcon Technologies’ tools are clinically meaningful, operationally realistic, and responsive to the needs of correctional agencies and providers.
Dr. Cadreche is a long-time member of the American Correctional Association. She has published in Corrections Today, chaired the ACA Behavioral Health Committee, and served as the Tennessee representative to the Coalition for Correctional Health Authorities. She is now an Associate Member of the Coalition for Correctional Health Authorities.
In addition to her U.S.-based correctional leadership, Dr. Cadreche has provided international training on correctional best practices based on ACA International Correctional Core Standards in Colombia, El Salvador, and Argentina. Since 2015, she has served as a Health Commissioner of Accreditation, on the ACA Board of Governors, and on the Performance Standards Committee.
Dr. Cadreche earned both her Doctorate and Master’s degrees in Psychology from Albizu University in Florida.
