Dr. Kimberly Weaks

Dr. Kimberly Weaks provides subject matter expertise to Falcon Technologies in correctional behavioral health, crisis intervention, suicide prevention, clinical operations, and quality assurance. With more than two decades of experience in correctional behavioral healthcare, Dr. Weaks brings practical insight into the clinical, operational, and policy considerations that shape care delivery across correctional settings.

Her expertise helps inform the development and implementation of Falcon Technologies’ correctional technology tools, including risk-informed decision support, behavioral health workflows, suicide prevention programming, clinical documentation practices, and staff training needs. Dr. Weaks’ experience leading facility-based care, restricted housing assessment and reform, re-entry coordination, multidisciplinary collaboration, and data-driven quality improvement provides valuable perspective on how technology can support both frontline staff and individuals in custody.

Dr. Weaks has extensive experience bridging the policies and expectations of state agencies, correctional facilities, and correctional healthcare contractors while advancing evidence-based practices and continuous quality improvement standards. She has trained hundreds of security, programming, and medical staff on behavioral health topics and has provided extensive consultation on the humane treatment of individuals with serious mental illness in custody.

Her areas of expertise include behavioral healthcare, cognitive-behavioral techniques, treatment of serious mental illness, risk assessment and crisis intervention, psychological evaluation, treatment planning, re-entry planning and coordination, assessment and treatment in restricted housing units, suicide prevention programming, and supervision of facility-based behavioral health providers. She also has experience conducting fitness-for-duty and weapons qualification evaluations for security staff.
